None that I know of but his disciples carried swords as they traveled with Him. It really doesn't have much bearing on what I am reading here though. I admit I responded in haste and said something I shouldn't have said but like Winterborn indicated either in another thread or in this thread, when something like this happens ... And there is no doubt that it is a tragedy ... You can expect someone to cry for more gun legislation. I have been reading this stuff all day. For someone to equate that nut to all gun owners or to say that gun owners shouldn't be outraged when something like this happens is just dumb.

I don't have a problem with reasonable gun ownership, rifles, hand guns, but assault weapons are purely for killing large number of people in a small amount of time. I see no need for them.

In my perfect world there would be no guns.

This latest tragedy doesn't make your case any stronger. Point is this scumbag had access to weapons and gear to carry out mass murder. The gear and weapons this scumbag was carrying go beyond the argument of self defense.

Second amendment is not problem. government has the right and have curb the second amendment to suit modern times. That is why people can't own weapons of mass destruction.
