Cairo (CNN) -- Egyptian protesters threw tomatoes and shoes at U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's motorcade Sunday and shouted, "Monica, Monica, Monica" as she left the newly reopened U.S. Consulate in Alexandria.

Clinton said she was in the city to answer critics who believe Washington has taken sides in Egyptian politics. There were already vocal protesters at the start of her visit to the consulate, forcing the ceremony to be moved inside.

Do you have any more nonsensical opinions to share with us, yuck? What is the background or real purposes for this protest? Are the Egyptians mad about Hillary or America in general? I think I read in that very article that they were upset at their perception that America is taking sides in their political endeavors. There is nothing at all new about that. China is spending billions now interfering in ours. But they're keeping their involvement on the down low. They can. The SCOTUS gave them free reign in that regard.

gatorman is such a hater. when a shoe was thrown at bush, he rejoiced. now i roll my eyes at yet another shoe throwing incident, and gatorman has a cow.

WTF are you talking about? In that instance, like gwb, I merely thought it was hilarious. Are you off your meds and hallucinating again, yuck?

They yelled "Monica" at her three times, Gutterman. That pretty much tells you where their anger is directed. Perhaps you should get off your fat ass and find out why they got so personal.

What does "Monica" mean in Arabic? Perhaps you need to get off your fat ass and research the pertinence of the true anger there and subsequent remarks made here. You just ain't getting it, are you, granny? Mighty thin slice of fruitcake, aren't you?

It isn't even a question, Gutterman. You really have no idea what you're talking about, do you?

I know exactly what I'm talking about, granny. And I refuse to go back to a, b, c's and 2+2 to explain any of it to you. You're not the first pseudo American I've run into. Don't choke on that old dry fruitcake.

Egyptians have a right to be irritated with us. It's gonna take years to rebuild relations with them after how we fucked up. Now we're over there trying to get in bed with the next dictator and trying to repress elections.

Actually most Egyptians are quite content with their understanding of Egyptian/American relations. There will always be an opposition, however. And that is a good thing for them and us.
