Romney has huge problems with Hispanics, and single (but not maried women). Rubio would help him the most - but if I were Rubio, i wouldn't want to jump on that sinking ship - Rubio is golden, and he should wait for a better chance - also not even being a 1 term senator, is "palinesque".

Will be interesting to see, he should reach out to SOME OTHER DEMOGRAPHIC, but i doubt he will

Don't require "creds" or "bonafides" to have an intelligent conversation. It was a simple statement based on facts and history .. based on an astute observation of the political climate .. based on the MAKE-UP of the Republican Party and what Romney is trying to convince them of .. based on his distancing himself from all things Bush .. and you're looking for "creds" about things any observer of politics should already know.
