I think most use a prompter, I think Clinton is the only one who could give a great speech off the cuff or from a prompter. I know there were some who could only use the prompter or a mic in their ear. There were some they NEVER encouraged to speak freely! Now we have a new one, "the trees are just the right size". Bawahahahahaha, still makes me laugh!

Clinton was a truly gifted politician. He would just ditch the prompter & work whatever crowd he was speaking to off the cuff. Best public speaker ever.

Reagan read off of index cards, in general.

How is he going to use two mirrors while giving a speech AND having Bush's head up his ass? I think you are expecting too much. I know you think Reagan was a God and all, but he is just a man.
 
Ok guys, I really was going to say "on his dick" but I didn't want to upset Leaning and I knew he was reading this thread.

Not that i could guarantee he could see that either...but I don't want to go there.

Yea well the problem with Clinton was once he got rolling you couldn't get him to shut the hell up! LOL

I liked Reagan. He could tell you he was going to shoot bambi, sell your daughter to the SE Asian sex slave trade and require a catalytic converter on your 77 Chevy Nova SS and you'd still like the son of a bitch. :)

I appreciate that Darla but please go ahead and be yourself. If I decide to respond wi a quote I'll just edit like I normally do. Seriously, it doesn't upset me I just edit for the reasons I posted the other day.

Okay thanks. I was having a lunch with a guy today who said "ass" in the context of "you know it's a pain in the ass" and then actually followed that up with "pardon my french". I really had no idea what to say. So I ordered another martini.

You guys enjoy discussing this the next few days. I actually quit watching the news at noon and started watching Swamp People. I relate better to those folks than the ones the news shows had on as guests. Hooked up to the camper and boat and Heading to the lake for a couple of days now that my wife is home from work. Depends on how well the crappie are biting as to whether I have time to check in. Taking the iPad with me in case they arent biting too well....plus I like to check in before bed time and have a good read. Funny, I used to read books at bed time. Enjoy the weekend.
