The Obama Presidential Library?

that is quite a bit of nonsense. The left's hatred of Bush was seething for 8 years. Calling him a chimp, burning him in effigy, making movies about his assassination, propaganda pieces from Michael Moore, etc....

Now the left is trying to project their emotions towards Bush onto the right and their thoughts on Obama. There are dumbasses on both sides to be sure, but the actual hatred from the left towards Bush is exponentially greater than the right's towards Obama. but people like you can't handle that, so you make up the 'they racists' line of crap in an effort to defend the chosen one from criticism. Criticism he deserves for consistently failing to lead, for consistently failing to improve the jobs market, for consistently failing to reign in the spend happy Congress, for running up over $4 Trillion in debt... etc...

Reign in Congress, exactly how is he suppose to do that? Boehner, Cantor, Mitchell, when their ONLY goal at this point seems to be his defeat?

A very good question. It would take an actual leader to do that. Unfortunately we do not have one at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. right now.

Of course Reps want to defeat him, but saying it is their only goal is simply partisan nonsense. His is in the opposing party, but most incumbents are at risk when the economy is horrid. Also, do you see who leads the Senate? It is the Senate that cannot pass a budget. It is the leadership in the Senate that refuses to do so.

As for the jobs market, he has done little but reiterate old ideas. The infrastructure is a good method for Keynesian stimulus, but that is what Obama said he would do in 2009 as well. Then he just handed public unions big checks via the states and did nothing else. That just pushed the problem into the future in 2009. Well, now we see why that type of government 'stimulus' doesn't work. It does not solve a problem. It just pushes the tough decisions into the future. Which is what Obama wants to do again.

Okay, so how would a good leader reign these guys in, when their first goal is to ruin him at the cost to our country?

SF, you ignore the words of both McConnell and Boehner who have stated that their # priority is to make Obama a one term President.

I do not ignore that. That is the goal of the opposition every time. you think the Dems didn't do whatever they could to make Bush a one term President?

I don't remember them stating outright that it was there #1 priority when the country has far greater concerns, and their behavior backs up their words.

Quit avoiding the question, then. Answer it.

Dear rube... again, I am answering the first post addressing me that I see. If you stop posting nonsense like this, I might. But since your panties are in such a bunch and you are being such a pathetic rube... I think I will go to lunch first. I may return to this thread today, I may not. I may just PM rana the response.

That's because they didn't state it. We were still ass-deep in Iraq and the wound of 9/11 was still effectively squelching anyone from saying or doing anything that might appear 'unpatriotic'.

Good idea - pm it to Rana and I'm sure she'll gladly forward it to me, and then I'll post it here with her permission - that is, if you even HAVE an answer, which it appears that you do not. :)
