There are two sides to the state of the Chinese regime. On one side, we’re seeing a weakening of its system—a weakening economically, politically, and socially. At the same time, we see a regime that’s becoming more aggressive on the world stage. We see it threatening war, and we see it threatening invasion of Taiwan. So a big question is, what’s happening? Are they strong? Are they weak? Are they a threat? Or are they not?
