Chinese police are physically abusing women, children, and the handicapped. While evidence and accusations of torture are piling up, Chinese propaganda videos depict the country's law enforcement officers as compassionate and gentle. Yet when the press cameras stop rolling, their actions often take a harsh turn.

The U.S. is set to ban all imports from the Xinjiang region in China. There, ethnic Uyghurs have been locked away en masse for forced labor inside internment camps.

A new report says three out of four children in Tibet have been taken from their parents. They’re being placed in boarding schools instead, where their language, culture, and traditions are being swapped out for Mandarin Chinese.

And, Lithuania pulls its diplomats out of China. Sources blame the hasty exit on what they describe as “safety concerns.”
