Eight Communist-Style Tactics Used By Left-leaning Socialists
Dec. 2, 2020 | By Yang Yue (Minghui.org)

The American democracy and the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) totalitarianism used to differ like day and night. After long-term infiltration since the 1910s, however, the CCP’s communism ideology has penetrated almost every aspect of the American society, from politics to education, and from culture to news media.

For those who grew up in communist China, the chaos of the 2020 U.S. presidential election is all too familiar. The tactics used by the left-leaning socialists to try to send their candidate to the White House bore a striking resemblance to what the CCP has been doing since it came to power 71 years ago.

There is a saying that, “If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.” Below are eight traits of the left-leaning socialists in the U.S. that reveal their communist-style tactics aimed to destroy traditional values and adopt socialism.

1. Using Media to Control Narratives and Spread Lies

From the anti-rights campaign against intellectuals in the 1950s to the Cultural Revolution in the 1960s, and from the Tiananmen Square Massacre in 1989 to the persecution of Falun Gong since 1999, the CCP has always used state-controlled media to spread lies and control narratives. For instance, without any evidence, the CCP media labeled Liu Shaoqi (former vice chairman of the CCP) an enemy of the state overnight. To attack Falun Gong, the CCP media published numerous articles and broadcast countless TV programs to defame the mind-body practice based on the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.

A popular saying used to describe the CCP media is:I am a dog of the party, crawling at the party’s doorstep;I will bite whoever the party tells me,and bite whichever way the party tells me.

The Fourth Estate Code of Practice spells out the ethical standards of journalism, including accuracy, independence, impartiality, integrity, minimal harm, engagement, and accountability. On the U.S. presidential election, however, these guidelines were rarely followed.

With the election results still pending with legal challenges unresolved, major news media rushed to call the election for Biden on November 7, including Associated Press, New York Times, CNN, NBC, and others. In the days that followed, CNN also falsely claimed that the First Lady had urged Trump to concede defeat and that Trump was planning for a 2024 run.

After Emily Murphy, Administrator of the General Services Administration (GSA), issued a personal letter to Biden on November 23 to approve his transition, the mainstream media celebrated in a concerted manner as if Biden had been officially certified as the President-elect. They neglected to mention that Murphy revealed in her letter that she was forced to approve transition after receiving thousands of threats against her, her family, and her pets.

The same group of media, however, turned a blind eye to critical developments unfolding in the election, including the countless pieces of evidence pointing to election fraud, a parade by hundreds of thousands of people in Washington D.C. calling for a fair election, the press conference of the Trump campaign legal team, and Pennsylvania Senate hearing where multiple witnesses testified with sworn affidavits.

The media’s tactics are no different than the CCP’s in that they both serve the purpose to only report what they want the people to hear, with no regard for the truth. One commentator even said that what the U.S. media has been doing is like a coup to drive Trump out of the White House.

2. Using Deceit to Undermine the Constitution

To the outsiders, the CCP claims that it follows the Chinese Constitution and that the government is elected by delegates for the People’s Congress at all levels. In reality, the delegates are merely rubber stamps and they simply vote for whoever the CCP wants to be voted for.

To some degree, American society represents democracy and freedom, both of which are core values of Western society. In the 2020 general election, however, such a democratic system became plagued with fraud concerning the mail-in ballots and Dominion voting system.

During a press conference on November 19, Rudy Giuliani, former New York City Mayor and Trump’s personal attorney, presented an anomalous set of results that he and other members of the Trump campaign legal team had discovered. “The president way ahead on election night, 700,000 or 800,000 in Pennsylvania, somehow he lost Pennsylvania. We have statisticians willing to testify that that’s almost statistically impossible to have happened in the period of time that it happened,” he said.

And the fraud was also confirmed by witnesses. “What emerged very quickly is it’s not a single voter fraud in one state. This pattern repeats itself in a number of states,” Giuliani explained, “Almost exactly the same pattern, which to any experienced investigator, a prosecutor would suggest that there was a plan from a centralized place to execute these various acts of voter fraud, specifically focused on big cities and specifically focused on, as you would imagine, big cities controlled by Democrats, and particularly focused on big cities that have a long history of corruption. The number of voter fraud cases in Philadelphia could fill a library.”

Patrick Basham from the Democracy Institute also found the election results were strange. President Trump received more votes than any previous incumbent seeking reelection and he earned the highest share of all minority votes for a Republican since 1960, he wrote in an article on The Spectator on November 28 titled “Reasons why the 2020 presidential election is deeply puzzling.”

On the other hand, “We are told that Biden won more votes nationally than any presidential candidate in history,” he continued, “But he won a record low of 17 percent of counties; he only won 524 counties, as opposed to the 873 counties Obama won in 2008. Yet, Biden somehow outdid Obama in total votes.”

Furthermore, winning presidential candidates especially challengers, usually have down-ballot coattails; Biden did not. “The Republicans held the Senate and enjoyed a ‘red wave’ in the House, where they gained a large number of seats while winning all 27 toss-up contests,” he explained, “Trump’s party did not lose a single state legislature and actually made gains at the state level.”

Lucian Lincoln “Lin” Wood, another Trump lawyer, said the election fraud “is a Constitutional crisis. If we don’t fix it and find out what happened and get it right, we are going to lose our Constitutional rights.”

3. Playing “Power-for-Money” Trick

The ballots in China are worth nothing because officials are not elected. Instead, official positions are often bought with money, which has become an unspoken rule in many places. Unfortunately, such a trend has also come to the U.S.

During an interview with the Howie Carr radio show on November 27, attorney Sidney Powell said she had obtained copies of check stubs which had been used to purchase ballots for voting theft.

4. Launching Personal Attacks with Slander and Libel

Communist countries especially China are notorious for launching personal attacks with slander and libel. This is especially the case during the Cultural Revolution when numerous people were given various labels (such as anti-government) and viciously attacked.

Trump has been attacked since he was elected president in 2016 for his efforts to counter communism and restoring traditional values. He said that, “In America ‘We Don’t Worship Government, We Worship God’.” He also took decisive measures against the CCP’s corrupting influence.

The news media and many government officials, who had been deeply infiltrated by communism, targeted Trump after he took office. They launched massive attacks on Trump, from the Russian investigating to the failed impeachment. They, however, remain silent on Trump’s achievements, including the strong economy, achievements on the peace in the middle east, and the progress made on curbing the CCP.

During the election season, such personal attacks also extended to Trump’s supporters. From parades to press conferences to legislative hearings supporting Trump, many mainstream news media chose to downplay such events and even attack Trump supporters personally for participating in the events.

5. Suppressing the Truth with Censorship

Both the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU) and the CCP enjoyed the freedom of the press to mobilize the public before taking power. After they grabbed power, however, both of them became one of the worst examples of information censorship and repression.

On the issue of the U.S. general election, what the main social media companies, such as Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, have done are not much different from the censorship in communist countries. Trump supporters and the Trump campaign have seen their posts removed or blocked. Even Trump himself has had many posts flagged as “misinformation” by Twitter.

After the Pennsylvania State Senate held a hearing on November 25 with several witnesses testifying against election fraud, Twitter blocked the account of Senator Doug Mastriano, who had requested the hearing.

“Wow!” Trump tweeted on November 25, “Twitter bans highly respected Pennsylvania State Senator Doug Mastriano after he did a great job of leading a hearing on the 2020 Election Fraud. They and the Fake News, working together, want to SILENCE THE TRUTH. Can’t let that happen. This is what Communist countries do!”

6. Instigating Hatred and Violence
