if you talk to my parents....they will say you're nuts...they're wine freaks...i've been on some tours with them and one of the tours we took a class in wine tasting and judging...basically so you could sound like a wine god to your friends....imo...i think both are complex in their own rights....wine has many subtle notes and after tastes that i don't think beer has....though, someone with your taste ability and talent for putting that taste into words could change that
In my personal opinion wine is far easier to describe than beer, because you have a fairly simple process and not a lot of variety with ingredients. In beer you have all sorts of different malts, hops, bottle conditioning, different yeasts. It's so much more diversified. But thanks for the compliment.
you write good, tbo...could be better, but you get that with time or more education or practice. in all honesty, the way you describe the beer is quite good and thats key, because you can be poe, but if you can't describe something.....it is similar to wine snobs, but it is refreshing to see someone describe beer in such an eloquent manner...i don't like wine that much, but i like beer
