Thread title = hyperbole. But, In fact we've see the "bush effect" on this and "other" boards:

many posters leaving the republican party in disgust; former republican posters becoming democrats/independents; or devout repubican Bush-fans simply creating new trolls on logging back suddenly claiming to be conservative-leaning "independents" who never backed Bush and his agenda - -aka, plausible deniablity from having played a role in promoting the failed Bush agenda and Bush war:

Fewer and Fewer people self-identify as republicans

Rasmussen

"The number of Americans calling themselves Republican has fallen to its lowest level in more than two-and-a-half years. Just 31.9% of American adults now say they're affiliated with the GOP. That's down from 37.2% in October 2004 and 34.5% at the beginning of 2006. These results come from Rasmussen Reports tracking surveys of 15,000 voters per month and have a margin of sampling error smaller than a percentage point.

The number of Democrats has grown slightly, from 36.1% at the beginning of the year to 37.3% now."

Naah he wont destroy it just set it back 20 yrs or so. Besides he had plenty of willing participants, eager to grab their piece of the pie.

No he can't do it single-handedly but he has had Bush's help. ;)

He being Cheney of course. ;)

Seriously though, he being Bush has not done it single-handedly. He has had a lot of help from an inept and untrustworthy administration.
