He's got a point, though.

You wouldn't want to sully the good name of torture by bringing politics into it.

The point is there have been over 100 investigations, and only one spending bill passed, I'm glad someone is finally saying enough, the government is on the verge of a shutdown, and the dim controlled congress is supeanaeing former Bush speech writers??? WTF

"At my confirmation hearing, I testified that I would act independently, resist political pressure and ensure that politics plays no role in cases brought by the Department of Justice," Mukasey (http://topics.cnn.com/topics/michael_mukasey) said.

Boy I like Bush more and more everyday!!!

Bush polls nearly 2x what the dim controlled congress gets...

President Bush Job Approval Rasmussen (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/political_updates/president_bush_job_approval) 12/06 - 12/08 39%
Dim controlled congress

CBS News/NY Times (http://www.cbsnews.com/sections/opinion/polls/main500160.shtml) 12/05 - 12/09 21%

you are the one in the hyper minority, the low numbers reflect the cynical attitude of the country regarding politicsin general, But at least Bush has a
solid base.

No they fought Republican efforts to raise the minimum wage long enough to take claim for it..

Mr BB you know i love you and all but i've never claimed to be a resident of your great country.

As it's an American board i feel obliged to "get involved" now and again, as long as it's not too focussed on purely American issues.

What issues are there that aren't American? We are the be all, end all. We are involved in everything, thus everything is an American issue. :tongout:

and yes, I am kidding.
