Hello, My name is Klaatu

You may remember me as that Conservative guy with the funny sounding moniker. For those savvy enough, they relate that funny moniker to an old SciFi classic, or may rmember it from a Band from the mid-70's.
Anyhow .... my life has change over the past year or so ... yes I am still a core Conservative on many fronts but I have also developed a romance with the idea of Peace and the end of unnecessary world wide Human suffering.
This new age of pasion of mine calls for the end of war.. big agenda I know, but somebody's got to do it. We cant let this idea keep nesting in the hills of shambhala. It also calls for the end of human hunger, we have the technology to feed every human being on the planet, no one should go without food and the basic neccessities of life.
Am I a socialist? Call me what you will. Im just fed up with greed and the perpetual "I me mine" philosophy of life. I believe in Capitalism but I also believe in whats right... and War and Famine are not whats right.

So... Im taking on a new hobby, to use what cyber talents I have and spread the idea of Peace.
I am all but certain to achieve Peace it is going to come by a Demand, that Demand could only stem from the Hearts and Minds of the citizens of the world.

President Eisenhower once said .. "I like to believe that people in the long run are going to do more to promote peace than our governments. Indeed, I think that people want peace so much that one of these days governments had better get out of the way and let them have it. "

I think Ikes words pretty much sums up my general feeling.... its going to take the people to achieve Peace.

Wars are perpetuated by Governments, while Peace is a perpetuated by its populace.
