Partisan politics presides over the true interest of the country. Why? Ask a "yellow dog", or a sean Hannity.... The issues are merely an annoyaice to the real end. the end is power, the means is partisan hackery.

Its pretty obvious here. Damn, I wish I had more time, but anyhow, that's $.01 of my two cents.

this is a bad thing only if you believe that both sides are pursuing agendas that are bad for America. I, personally, would never engage in politics in any way if I felt that my efforts were promoting an agenda that was bad for America. I am not in this for personal gain. I will make out better if the inheritance tax is repealed...I will make out better if the marginal tax rate at the upper end is reduced.... but nonetheless, I argue against those issues.

I truly believe that the platform of the democratic party is the better path for this country and I just as fervently believe that the republicans in power have taken us in a wrong and dangerous direction.

the end is the betterment of this country, the means is political power.
