I'm rotting away all year long, taking small carpentry jobs to get by, and then I decide it's time to move away from here and BAM!!!, I start getting calls for more and more work. WHY??? Baby Jesus cries when I turn down work so I'm doing another last job. Please pray for old stirfry to get the work done and have no more calls. I want to leave!!!

Is this a prayer request thread? Interesting. Sure, I will pray.

Get out now Stir...don't let another job stop ya.....(that's the devil trying to "devide and conquer" your emotions on what you "intuitively felt" was the right move for you just a month ago...)

that's my advice...

And you are "F'd" only if you let yourself become "F'd"....

Get OUT of Dodge, while you can...

;)

Don't move to the Left Coast, dude.

It sucks out here. Really sucks. You'll hate it. Too many tree-huggers and liberals.

Stay out on the east coast. You'd hate it here.

Stay north of the greater Hell area of SoCal. Imagine your greatest fears in life, whether it is being tortured, whether it is getting schizophrenia, the US going Communist, whatever, imagine that, multiply it by 10, and you'll begin to understand the nightmare I'm living here in Southern California.

Stay north, don't fall into this god forsaken lake of fire.

San Clemente beats MV. I live in Hell, California. San Fernando Valley, woodland Hills to be exact.

I've found a photo of my neighborhood for you: http://tinyurl.com/q78f5

I grew up in PDX... I'm going back home where I belong. I'm white trash. The east coast is the worst place for my kind. The wilderness alone is worth moving back for. I don't where you vistited in Oregon, Cypress, but if you think the east is better than even the worst places on the west coast, you need to take another visit. There may be jobs here for people with college degrees, but the displacement factor from illegal aliens is staggering. I've seen 70% of the contractors I've worked for (for years at the same low price) turn their back on me and hire the cheaper illegals. I'm smart enough to see the writing on the wall. Without a corporate opportunity, the east coast is HELL.

When i visit Beefy down in cali, i'll have the kinder, gentler buds. Oh i can't wait to see the greenery. What am i talking about? If you have to ask, nevermind.

Oregon Shreds. They've got that big ass casino in the woods off I5 halfway between Portland and Eugene. They've also got WanderingBear.

You don't want to hang down here though buddy. This place is a bloody nightmare. That's why I'm moving to Maine.

to maine? Ugghhhh it's nice looking, but there's almost nothing to do there. That's unless you like the activities of retired folk. The whole east coast is lame. I've been all over the place, and granted, i'm just a poor white trash loser with no money to enjoy the finer things, but the place will put you to sleep. You better like toothless women.

Just kidding. I hope you like maine. I visited there a few times during summer months. It's very pretty, but it's nothing compared to the west as far as scenic beauty. And it's overpriced as well. The whole east is overpriced because it's close to NY city (which is the most disgusting city I've ever been to... worse than chicago). The west coast has WAY better people also... the kind of people you can depend on and tell your secrets to. I hope you find some good people if you move out here. There are pockets of good people... I've met a few, but compared to the people out west, they're fucking back stabbing scum.

Yeah, I lived in Oregon - Corvallis.

And you're not playing along dude! You're not supposed to advertise the liberal paradise of Washington, Oregon, and NorCal.

Hey, we had a great basketball team at one time. AC Green was awesome. (He played at Benson High School which was a rival to My high school ...Grant High.) We were undefeated going into the NCAA tourney and shmucks lost in the first round to an unseeded team. But damn, they were good.

I was there for the gary payton era. Good basketball team. Not great.

OSU football was a joke. The cal teams used us as a punching bag.
