Meaningless, you've negleted the Grindpoints into irrelevance.

I could easily start mbl points, but then, I'd probably lose grind points, and that's a risk I simply cannot afford to take.

I thought of doing Bitwise points but they'd take up too much room.

:pActually, "Beefy:16" but why quibble?

:note: Like I said, it takes up too much space.

BTW -- did you notice that, in the movie version of Hitchhiker's Guide, the Marvin robot from the original BBC series makes a cameo appearance? I didn't notice it until the second time I watched it but, in the scene where they're queueing up to get Trillian released, the original Marvin is standing about halfway along the line. Cute.

Wow, how is binary efficient at all?

It's good for beings that have only two digits... I think it is great we have 10 of them...

Counting the one in the middle? It has no ability to grab unless you got a transplant... from an elephant maybe.

I picked up a sharpie with it once by pinching it with the danglies on the south of the peter. It was to amuse an ex of mine, but I think I just won the argument on either account. It can grab, you just have to be creative. :)

Speed and simplicity. You going to design a semi-conductor with 10 possible states and manage all that? Lots o' luck to you. ;)

Remember, anything you can do in octal or decimal or hex you can also do in binary. It's just a different notation. We're just not used to it is all.

There are 10 types of people in the world,

those who understand binary and those who don't.

The storage and manipulation of data is drastically simplified.

Why Binary ? cause a transistor only has one finger.
