I believe the ongoing conflict in Lebanon, combined with the Iran and North Korea conflicts, are setting the foundation for a 3rd World War. Any thoughts or predictions on this? A draft will be certain. So long as women are not drafted, I will support a draft, as it would be needed to maintain world stability. I for one would be OK with dying for my Nation. So far, life hasn't been too great for me anyway, so I can honesty say I'm ready to check out at any time.

What in the world makes this made-up Third World War scenario worth fighting and dying for? The United States of America is under no dire threat of invasion or subjugation by foreign powers.

These are all foreign policy and diplomacy issues we must address, and perhaps in the future when someone has their missle pointed at us, we might need to use force to ensure our security (though hopefully not) but we should see to all of this issues as a free republic which has a voluntary military program.

Although after reading your message all the way through, I see you may not at all be serious.

Whatever. Never can tell you with you.

Why would you be ready for this war, and not ready for women to be drafted?
