Just got finished reading this book by Hugh Hewitt. Actually, I've been exposed to republicans and their ideology quite a bit recently. Of course, attending church I run into more Bush bumper stickers than I ever did in college at UW.
Have my thoughts on them changed much? Not really. They are largely good people, who simply feel that their politicians and fellow Americans should hold their moral values. That largely means no gays and no abortions.
Anyway, the book mostly just details what the republicans have to do to gain 60 seats in the senate, a feat they could accomplish actually. Most of the senate seets up for grabs are against democrat incumbents.
Curious to see if Cantwell holds her seat in WA, I kind of doubt it.
