To get back to the topic, I do think that Israel is not the champion of freedom and acceptance that we present them to be. They are their own thing, and they are there on our accord, thus we defer to them. But lets break it down to brass tacs.

Israel is strong. They can fend for themselves. They have already been armed to the teeth by the US. They no longer need us. Their wars are no longer our wars. Let them be. Why on earth should we fight for another country in the same fashion as we fight for ourselves? They can walk on their own two feet.

Let them go.
