I think support for banning handguns is at the lowest point it's ever been. Ever. Even in the 90's, we had Republican senators pushing bills to ban handguns. Today, not even the biggest liberal in the house is going to touch the issue. It's that third rail. This is not the UK. Stop scaring people with this.
