He was against it before he was for it and then against it....
I think he realizes that he was bought off by a promise that cannot be fulfilled. Even if it were in the final version that portion would be struck down as unconstitutional.
Of course, it is always easy to talk something down after the fact in the hope of distancing yourself from the result. But that will be extremely difficult considering his was the final bribe that pushed it over...

Maybe you jackasses should read the article wherein Nelson says the timing of the healthcare bill was a mistake but he defends the bill and his vote in favor of it.

he doesn't say the bill is a mistake, he simply says obama should have focused on the economy in 2009 and he says the bill wasn't rushed
