I was wondering when Top would catch hell for his team having major problems against a team that hasn't won a football game since Nov 2007.

PAC-10 did represent. The whole point of scheduling a cupcake team for the first game is so you can go out and blow them away.

Hold on, are we referring to my hometown U-Dub Huskies here?

The huskies showed good heart and will beat half the high school teams in their conf. Will they be the hs team to get the annual upset vs the one college team in conf. I don't think so, but I wouldn't have called a buck fity for the beavers rb last year.

After the seasons first games, the AP Top 25 poll is out.

1 - Florida (no surprise)
2 - Texas
3 - USC
4 - Alabama! Roll Tide!

Then some other teams.

Although, we do have the SEC represented well. 3 SEC teams in the Top 10, and 5 in th eTop 25.

There was no love for my Bucks. They beat a very good Navy team and still lost ground in the polls. Oh well, they can change that next weekend, if they can.

If Navy plays great against someone else then they might give your Buckeyes some ground back.

Otherwise...well

Yeah, if ya'll beat USC you ought to be in 2nd or 3rd place. And if you hold on and win out the rest of the season you could be playing either FL Gators or my Crimson Tide for the NC.

Ah, that would explain the represent remarks. Its kinda sad, I was in a bar called Earls, in the U District, and they had photos on the wall from the 1991 season. We're still waiting for the Huskies to relive what happened 19 years ago...

At least the UW is good at softball...

Aren't you still waiting for the first win for the Huskies since 2007?

Just landed in Columbus for the hopeful success of Operation Beatdown Buckeyes.

If OSU beats USC, Navy becomes the baddest service academy in the country.

Yes, that too. Last year was sad for WA state. The Huskies had zero wins, the Cougars had one win (against the Huskies), the Seahawks sucked, the Mariners sucked, the Sonics sucked and then left town to Oklahomo. The only teams that did well were the WNBA Storm and the Sounders FC (soccer) seem to be pretty solid from what I hear. Gonzaga has a pretty good reputation for basketball, but I dunno if they did well last year...
