Is that near Quetico Provincial Park? I've gone canoing and bass fishing there a few times. Absolutely gorgeous.

I usually fish the Owens river in California. Just south of mono, but north of Crowley. Best I've ever done was at the Nushigak in Alaska. But that was 16 years ago :(

I woke up this morning with an urge to go fishing.

Unfortunately I have work today and don't have a valid rod licence but have booked a day off work next week.

Gonna fish the River Witham, a slow river running out of my city. Hoping for pike, Tommy Ruffe, Bream, Roach and Tench.

Tench sounds like a fungal infection. :p

Hooks. Use fly maggots for bait, with plenty of ground bait. I don't think you have Roach in the new world...
