True enough, but the older ones stink worse, even when you find them in winter, even worse at the height of summer. Now I'm trying to think if fatal trauma victims lose it like that, I can't remember. I do remember picking up the pieces of a bloke who threw himself in front of an express train once, but he was spread over about 500 metres of railway line so it was hard to tell.

The suicide 'victims' were the worst ever. We'd get the "funny smell" call....

I would have given my right arm for apparatus during a desert summer many years ago when I got a call, elderly woman hadn't been seen for two weeks.
