I have implemented the following changes to the member structure.

1. I created a new usergroup of "verified user".

This group has all the normal permissions allowed to the active user.

2. Any "registered user" will be upgraded to "verified user" after posting 15 posts.

3. I have limited any user's capacity to post links until after they have 15 posts.

4. I have limited the PM capability of any user to only be able to send to 1 user at a time until after they have posted 15 posts.

(I am working on some code to stop any user from sending a url link in a PM until after they have posted 15 times as well)...

If anybody has any ideas that I can implement to make it work even better, give me a PM or post in this thread.

Thanks to everybody who helped me to stop our most recent spammer!

I come here with the sole intention of posting a nice link and i find that despite being the Prime bloody Minister i am not deemed fit to be a "verified user"?

This is an outrage.

I am so very sorry that i do not have the time to post as frequently as some people.

Do you know how may forms you have to fill in in order to borrow 118 billion pounds? Do you? Well, i'll tell you. It is a lot. In triplicate. And don't think they will accept the forms if you accidentally use a blue biro instead of a black one because they won't.

Yes, I am truly terrible. In a bit of wonderful irony I am having some sort of allergic reaction today. I see double. Fantastic. No driving until I can get this resolved.

Absolutely! Most notably, the right to be shot on sight; right next to the guys that create computer viruses.

LOL.

I have the right to be shot on site, but I never choose to exercise that right. Yet more examples of Americans not having any understanding of a what a right or a freedom is.

However, we all have the responsibility to shoot conservatives on site.

And why should virus guys have to die because you were stupid enough to click on porn.jpg.exe? You people shouldn't have the right to own computers. You ruin the internet. People who make viruses should be awarded the congressional medal of honor and a lifetime pension.
