I was checking into the polls today, stunned to see that the newest Poll has Davis within 2 points of Crist.

Just two weeks ago it was 15 points for Crist and two weeks before that it was 20 points for Crist...

It looks like the momentum is going for Davis. My theory is the president issue, just having people talk about it will bring this one over to Davis even because Crist was a rubber-stamp vote for Governor Bush his entire term as Florida's Attorney General.

He is an alien (other planet type), don't elect him governor! ;)

omg, Charlie Crist, is leading the governors race. I weep for my state. Is this Jim Davis he is running against? Can't believe he would lose to Crist, though he's pretty lousy too.

Davis is not a good speaker, but his politics are good. I support him.

Crist is a bit too conservative for me!

I disagree on both points.

Davis is a good speaker or at least he did well in the several occasions I have seen him speak. He also has a good manner and appears empathetic which is an important skill.

Crist is not conservative he is simply a whore. I doubt he believes in anything other than getting elected.

Crist is a whore... I agree. Man he really will say just about anything. Last night he was basically talking about how he is in love with Reagan.

He drove or at least rode a couple of outfits into bankruptcy as well, while waiting to run for governor.
