So, the question is: do you think we as front line workers should get hazardous duty pay if it were made available through the Fed?

Now, some of our Paratransit drivers were reassigned to remote cleaning details for the buses (they get additional pay for it), but not a driver, mechanic, clerk, supervisor, etc. was laid off. On this I will have to respectfully disagree (imagine that). I, along with others in public transit, healthcare, and first responders are out on the front lines being exposed 500 different ways to Tuesday ON TOP OF dealing with the usual assholes both on the buses and trains and driving their four wheelers in ways that would make you cringe, without a single "thank you" from management or our governmental leaders. In my case, since I drive fixed route (big bus), it was balls to the wall full steam ahead.
