That Mullet would be sniffing around Trump’s Tweets is telling.

The most plausible explanation is his obstruction case is weak. It was weak to begin with [Trump had absolute authority to fire Comey; Rosenweasel recommended it] and it’s been weakened by Comey, whose book tour and talk show appearances HAD to go against Mullet’s advice.

Using Tweets to build an obstruction case is kind of novel, to put it mildly. It at least sounds desperate.

Or it may be part of Mullet’s gambit: get a half-baked obstruction indictment against Trump; then hope Democrats take the House and let them finish the business.
