How much do you think they paid the players to talk about the Free Taco thing from Taco Bell...?

Amazingly, there was the CEO of Taco Bell to talk it up right after the first "stolen" base...

Basically it depends on lester... I think dicek will do the job. If lester fails becket will get it done for sure.

Keep in mind you now have to expect a .600 team to go .200 to win.

Ahem*. You had to expect that with Cleveland too.

It is ridiculous to assume victory even yet although it becomes more likely. I'm not saying the Rockies will win, just that I certainly still think they can win.
 
Game 3, I've been saying it all along and damo has refused to believe how owned they are going to be when we sweep them. Maybe he'll realize after tonight :)
 
See the 21 out of 22 games doesn't mean much when you are playing nl teams. You graduated from elementary no doubt, but this is highschool. We are way too superior for you rockos :)

M'eh. When they were 76-72 before the tear if you told me they'd even be in the Post Season I'd have told you that you were insane.

There is a joy to even getting there. I wish we hadn't had that lay over for 8 days. It took the shine off their tear.
 
And then they went to sleep. I had high hopes for the rockies going in, but Grind is right, the difference is the two leagues. The American League is just superior to the National this year. Hell the cubs, who won their division, had a record that was only good enough for third in any division in the AL. If the Sox win tonight that makes them 8-0 in the world series and 4-0 in NL parks where the lack of the DH, we are told evens things up. Not so much.
