Democrats Falsely Claim Jesus was a Socialist

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in , , " - Matthew 25:35

For Jesus to have been a socialist, the verse would have to read "For I was hungry and the government forced someone else to feed me . . ."

"Was Jesus a socialist? No. Not in a state-forced way. He was not a crony capitalist, either. He did not violently resist the state or market. If he had a choice to vote in a ballot booth or jury box, there is no evidence to suggest he would cast a stone with the crowd. Neither should we."

I have no idea what this guy is talking about.

Jesus is a Dominican guy who coaches the Pizza Hut team in Little League.
Damn good coach, too. The kids love him.

Giving anything you need if you only ask, not asking for a return. He tilt's beyond socialist, and is a saint that doesn't care about your sins if you come to him for help. He is so unlike Conservatives who deny people because they are gay. Jesus went around and helped lift up even those that were shunned. Most of American idealism, and Capitalism insult his ideals, but that object driven national pride over people is a joke. You are not a follower of Christ, but astray on your own path.

Matthew 19:21
Jesus said to him, “If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”

Matthew 6:2-4
“Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

1 John 3:17
But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?

2 Corinthians 8:13-15
For I do not mean that others should be eased and you burdened, but that as a matter of fairness your abundance at the present time should supply their need, so that their abundance may supply your need, that there may be fairness. As it is written, “Whoever gathered much had nothing left over, and whoever gathered little had no lack.”

Galatians 6:2
Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Luke 3:11
And he answered them, “Whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise.”

Matthew 6:24
“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.

1 Corinthians 10:24
Let no one seek his own good, but the good of his neighbor.

Philippians 2:4
Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

Galatians 5:14
For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Deuteronomy 10:18
He executes justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the sojourner, giving him food and clothing.

2 Corinthians 8:9
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich.

Luke 14:13-14
But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you. For you will be repaid at the resurrection of the just.”

Leviticus 25:35-38
“If your brother becomes poor and cannot maintain himself with you, you shall support him as though he were a stranger and a sojourner, and he shall live with you. Take no interest from him or profit, but fear your God, that your brother may live beside you. You shall not lend him your money at interest, nor give him your food for profit. I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.

Proverbs 31:9
Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy.

There are hundreds of other passages in the bible that declare the same things which are decidedly socialist.

Trump supporters are claiming to know Jesus? :whoa:

Jesus flipped off the govt and religious authorities and was executed for it. You follow-n-swallow.

Christ didn't have a political message. He reminded us to pay our taxes and that was about all because it was an answer to a hypocritical Pharisee's question. All your Scriptures were perfect, exactly as you posted them. Thank-you for that. It is God reminding his people about caring for those (especially the widows and orphans) who are in need with a willing heart. :)

The Bible is about free will, which is not related to socialism in any way. So no, Jesus is not a socialist.

Jesus is whatever anyone wants to make him out to be, always has been, not much different than Che. The bible is about humans being damaged goods merely for being born at all, and then having to submit themselves to an authoritarian male dominator god chain of command or burn in eternity. What a blatant mindfuck, brainwashing at its worst.

That's irrelevant. Basically he's none of the above, and it's a stupid argument too begin with taking that direction. Socialism is a group thing. Capitalism, and socialism are works that make everyone one person working towards something as a nation rather then individuals. What is done is decided by the majority. It's not about free will on any of it. As a citizen it's duty. Kind of like how certain things are duty as a follower of Christ. Those acts fit into socialism ideals, not Capitalist ones.

Jesus was a murderous commie thug? You've never seen the inside of a Bible, have you?

Then why does our christian nation create to many widows and orphans across the planet? We seem to require a lot of reminding if we're ever going to uptake that bit.

You are simply wrong. On all counts.

Raised in the church, grandma was the organist, mom was the pianist and choir director, sunday school, vacation bible school, the entire doctrination. Par for all your other assumptions pard. What say we give you another chance to calm down and read through this again and see if you can "get" it, k? If the mention of "Che" triggers you, try this:
