Anthropogenic Global Warming does occur and has some impact. What the causes are is open to debate. It isn't as simple as "It's CO2!" and eliminating manmade sources of CO2 like the Gorebal Warming crowd claims.
For example, in China there is an on-going reforestation project to stop the spread of desertification within Central and Northern China. They've planted something like tens of millions of trees to do this. The Great Green Wall started in 1978 and has been going on and growing in size ever since.
Well, one of the unforeseen consequences of this massive reforestation project is that whole regional weather patterns are radically changing now.

China is finding the same sort of issues with building huge solar arrays in their desert regions. These seemed perfect for solar production until the arrays got really big. Then the same thing happened. Weather patterns started to change as did the presence of vegetation and evapotranspiration cycles. These started to have radical impacts on weather patterns.
Wind has been claimed to be a great solution. Now scientists are finding that large wind farms absorb so much energy out of the atmosphere that they have a serious impact for hundreds of miles downwind behind the wind farms and can actually contribute to atmospheric warming by creating stagnant air that has more time to absorb heat from the ground below.
It's all sort of like Mao and the great sparrow eradication campaign. Scientists are looking at a very complex system, seeing one part of it and claiming that's the issue. Politicians--idiots really--glom on and run with that. Then everything gets fucked up as a result. The scientists quietly fade into obscurity. The politicians are replaced. The program is dropped and written out of history. Then along comes the Next Great Thing and it gets repeated and people get fucked for it.
For example all we'd need is a supervolcano to go off. Say Yellowstone or Lake Toba and Gorebal Warming goes right out the window.
