Johnson was booed all the way to Westminster, is certainly the most unpopular prime-minister in British history, gave a characteristic opening display of blustering fact-free buffoonery, made impossible promises and appointed a Gang of extremists to his cabinet, some of whom were previously sacked for scurrilous behavior and are already guilty of being in contempt of parliament.
The opposition cannot believe its luck that the Tories have done something so stupid - and are already pointing out that Johnson is unelected, the result of an in-house coronation by fewer that 0.2% of the UK population.

The opposition has a young and brilliant social media and general Internet team called 'Momentum '. It will galvanize the grass-roots support of Jeremy Corbyn- the largest party membership in Europe and propel him into the premiership, imo.
Momentum will anticipate all the slurs, mudslinging and lies directed at Corbyn and go after the slanderers- exposing their financial backers, some of whom will be American. The only real conundrum is whether they can dispose of the Johnson Gang quickly.
Trump will help them by making Johnson as popular as Netanyahu. Haw, haw.............................haw.
 
It is some consolation to know that what was once Great Britain, has about as many bat-shit-crazy people supporting a bat-shit-crazy leader as the once United States of America.

The United States is no longer United and Britain is no longer Great!

BoJo differs on some key issues with Trump, but that's not a knock on the guy. There are similarities as well.
I liked hearing him say that he wants to look strongly into Australia's merit-based system for migration.

Unless you can cite evidence for that, I have to say I don't believe it. I've read one of his books and the style is very similar to his journalism. I don't care much for either, to be honest, but I can recognize the style. Maybe he employs the same ghost writer for the whole lot, I dunno.

A related question: does anyone know if TRUMP has ever written an article, in the msm or online?

There was a recent TV interview with a very popular ghost writer. In his opinion it is almost impossible for a high-profile character to ever find time to write 100,000 words- the usual engagement criteria- let alone make it GOOD. Ghost writers study their employers and ape their idiosyncracies .

You know that Baldy Johnson was sacked for inventing quotes , don't you ? Any invented quotes in his ...er....book ? Haw, haw.............................haw.
 
The book was a sort of popular history of early Roman Gaul (as you know, Johnson majored in Classics). I didn't spot any invented quotes in it. Is that evidence he didn't write it? :laugh:
