Democrats Falsely Claim Jesus was a Socialist

Jesus was the ultimate CONSERVATIVE. He was born, lived, and died without once breaking the law of Moses....the only person of Hebrew faith that never sinned once in His lifetime...fulfilling the law of the letter (the Old Testament Covenant of Moses)….allowing a new covenant to begin when His last breath was taken in this life. The Christian Doctrine never went into effect until the death of Jesus Christ. One can be no more conservative or Orthodox than was THE CHRIST JESUS.

LOL! So you admit you've never once read the bible and have no idea what it says about him being as radical as it gets.

Please be less fucking stupid and dishonest.

he who wrote the Ten Commandments with his own finger told the Pharisees that the Sabbath had been made for man, not man for the Sabbath.......and you pretend he learned it from Hammurabi........show me the Sabbath in the Code of Hammurabi......

You mean Mark 2:27.. That's new testament.. NOT ancient Hebrew law.

You mean Mark 2:27.. That's new testament.. NOT ancient Hebrew law.

Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

not from the NT.....show me the parallel in the Code of Hammurabi......

The Christian Doctrine never went into effect until the death of Jesus Christ. One can be no more conservative or Orthodox than was THE CHRIST JESUS. Jesus came to feed and nurture the spirit...the soul, not the flesh. Jesus pointed out that the POOR will be among you ALWAYS. (Forever there will be poor people because free will exists). -- John 12:8

Jesus came to earth to reveal TRUTH from Heaven -- John 18:37. He did not come to feed anyone as God Incarnate.....charity is the duty of THE CHURCH as a whole. The individual first must accept the TRUTH revealed from Heaven through the teachings of Christ Jesus as its the truth that sets one free....not a full belly.

Jesus came into the world as a poor person from a poor community. Did He attempt to change anyone's politics or did He declare "give unto Caesar whatis Caesar's"? Did He attempt to end the institute of slavery or did He declare that everyone should obey their masters? He never attempted to change anyone's economic status in society.....He simply declared..."....give unto the poor..." He did not declare that one should give everything unto the poor.

The scriptures point out the Duty of Jesus' Gospel (good news) was to reveal Truth....a Truth that was the foundation or corner stone of the New Testament Church of Christ -- 1 Tim. 3:15

From each church (congregation) the gospel truth was to be spread among the people -- 1 Thess. 1:8

When Jesus feed about 5000 hungry people with the loaves and the fish.....He chastised and turned them away when they attempted to follow Him simply because He had feed them. He pointed that He was here to reveal to them the Truth about saving one's soul....He was not here to fill their bellies -- John 6:26-27

The scriptures point out that is the duty of the head of the household to protect and provide for his family first and foremost....leaving charity for those who where truly in need, widows and orphans...etc., if you are an able bodied person and beg for a living and provide not for your own responsibilities....you are worse than an INFIDEL (unbeliever).

OK, I hope you're happy. Now I've got a headache.

I wonder if kudzu will run away and then in a few weeks pretend that she knows fuck all about scripture....I'm getting tired of these lame ass atheists who think they know something when in fact they know jack shit......

What do you want to know? Ask me directly. I'll anwer if I know.

The debate over god's existence is too one sided to even be of interest. It doesn't matter if Jesus wanted more fairness of access to earth's resources.
He's just a dude. You have your opinion, I have mine and he probably did too. Who cares?

post 363 you dimwitted atheist twit......you keep dodging it.....

Oh that's simple.. I am surprised you didn't figure it out for yourself. The Hebrews borrowed from the Hammurabi Code, just like they borrowed from the Egyptian Book of the Dead, Sumerian myth and Canaanite poetry from the Ugarit.

lol.....so your answer is you can't find it but won't admit it..........I will accept your confession of dishonesty and will remind you of it the next time you try to pass off the lie that there are similarities between the Ten Commandments and the Hammurabi Code........maybe the next time you will think twice before lying .............

The sermon on the mount is closer to socialism than the social Darwinism of much of American thought today. All one has to do is mention 'government' and the right wing snowflakes get their panties all in a bunch. It is a funny sight except it is Pavlovian rather than considered. And then there are the libertarians, grow up privileged and say freedom five times and you've solved the problems of the world. The real world eludes both sects and it also eludes the so called Christian right too. Our Christians cry over the unborn while healthcare and nutritional support is removed from living children. Oh and they showed their true colors by mostly remaining silent over the evil of separating children at the border whose parents only wanted a safer, better life for them.

Christ didn't have a political message. He reminded us to pay our taxes and that was about all because it was an answer to a hypocritical Pharisee's question. All your Scriptures were perfect, exactly as you posted them. Thank-you for that. It is God reminding his people about caring for those (especially the widows and orphans) who are in need with a willing heart. :)

Actually, Jesus was political, stretch. The Roman occupation and their oppressive laws were the burning issues of Jesus time on earth.

His Sermon on the Mount addresses how to cope with those oppressive laws and shame the enemy... i.e. Turn the other cheek..

The oldest creation myth in the Bible isn't in the Book of Genesis at all. It is alluded to in the Book of Isaiah, in the Book of Job and in Psalms.

The clearest and fullest biblical account of this ancient myth appears in Psalm 74: “For God... Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters. Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness. Thou didst cleave the fountain and the flood: thou driedst up mighty rivers. The day is thine, the night also is thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun. Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter” (74:12-17).

An archaeological discovery made in the 20th century shed light on this strange account of creation, revealing it for what it is: an abridged version of the Canaanite creation myth.

Not the Ten Commandments.. Those are very close to the Egyptian Book of the Dead. The Hammurabi code is closer to Leviticus and Deuteronomy.

King Hammurabi of Sumer lived and died 300 years before Abraham.

Jesus didn't teach anything related to socialism. Matthew 25:35-36 says 'For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

Any idea what the one key word is in those two verses?

All one has to do is mention personal responsibility and an expectation of bleeding hearts like you personally doing what you say should be done for people you claim deserve something they don't have and you go ballistic spouting things like "we're all in this together". Unless you're willing to personally fund things for people you say they should have, STFU about the rest of us doing it so you can claim credit.

Someone else's kids aren't my responsibility to feed and provide nutrition. If the woman has the sole choice of what she does with her body, feeding her kids is her responsibility.

You left wingers whine and cry about the border situation. Are you saying that it's OK to overlook the laws if the claim put forth is "I was only looking for a better life for my family?"

ROFL.....so upon being proved a liar your immediate response (instead of defending yourself) is to make a completely new lie.......sad little worthless shit atheist.......

tell you what......tell me what is similar between your latest psuedo creation and Genesis 1 (I tried your haaretz link but apparently I have to surrender my ad blocker to read it......which I will not do).......then I will proceed to show the entire world that you are lying about that as well.......

[THE CHAPTER OF] MAKING THE TRANSFORMATION INTO THE BENU BIRD. The Osiris,
the scribe Ani, whose word is truth, saith:- I flew up out of primeval matter. I came into being like
the god Khepera. I germinated like the plants. I am concealed like the tortoise [in his shell]. I am
the seed of every god. I am Yesterday of the Four [Quarters of the Earth, and] the Seven Uraei,
who came into being in the Eastern land. [I am] the Great One (Horus) who illumineth the
Hememet spirits with the light of his body. [I am] that god in respect of Set. [I am] Thoth who
[stood] between them (Horus and Set) as the judge on behalf of the Governor of Sekhem and
the Souls of Anu. [He was like] a stream between them. I have come. I rise up on my throne. I
am endowed with Khu. I am mighty. I am endowed with godhood among the gods. I am Khensu,
[the lord] of every kind of strength.

just like Honor your father and mother, eh?......

can't get enough of your lying....

now find me the part about coveting......

"Hail to thee, great God, Lord of the Two Truths. I have come unto thee, my Lord, that thou mayest bring me to see thy beauty. I know thee, I know thy name, I know the names of the 42 Gods who are with thee in this broad hall of the Two Truths . . . Behold, I am come unto thee. I have brought thee truth; I have done away with sin for thee. I have not sinned against anyone. I have not mistreated people. I have not done evil instead of righteousness . . .
I have not reviled the God.
I have not laid violent hands on an orphan.
I have not done what the God abominates . . .
I have not killed; I have not turned anyone over to a killer.
I have not caused anyone's suffering . . .
I have not copulated (illicitly); I have not been unchaste.
I have not increased nor diminished the measure, I have not diminished the palm; I have not encroached upon the fields.
I have not added to the balance weights; I have not tempered with the plumb bob of the balance.
I have not taken milk from a child's mouth; I have not driven small cattle from their herbage...
I have not stopped (the flow of) water in its seasons; I have not built a dam against flowing water.
I have not quenched a fire in its time . . .
I have not kept cattle away from the God's property.
I have not blocked the God at his processions.
