What a great statesman he is.

Quick, what's his most notable accomplishment?

that's the good part of the philosophy.
keep the government role to basic necessities. Government is not your friend, and it will enslave you if you let it get too unweildly.

Like any other philosophy it requires a balance of interests to work. Compare that to progessives who thrive off governmental intrusions

That said, I think Trump wouldn't have known "Aleppo" either. And I don't think quiz-stuff like that is a big deal for someone who hasn't been in Congress or somewhere else where they have to keep up w/ every situation around the world. And everyone has brain freezes.
Trump wouldn't have known what Aleppo was, but he would've bullshitted his way through the answer and just rambled on about some nonsense unrelated to the question to hide that fact.

Uh.... yeah... and non-interventionism or isolationism are merely political stances. Your point?

I swear, you make some of the "head-scratchiest" posts.

Isolationism includes protectionism which is why the label is a better fit for your fuhrer.

But you still don't have an argument.

Hitler was an "isolationist" in the vein of Trump. Pulled Germany out of the League of Nations, introduced extreme protectionist measures. Of course he also invaded and plundered other countries, which is exactly Trump's plan (invade other countries just to "take their oil").

He also supports immigration, which does not fit with your attempt to label him an "isolationist."

military/foreign policy isolationism ( such as world wide disengagement) is a different bird then economic protectionism.

Isolationism is a doctrine. Johnson very much fits into it -I mean no foreign aid?
"Disengagement from Pakistan" ensures either the ISI will look for funding elsewhere, or become more corrupt.
It's a cop out foreign policy.

And no - "skeptical of interventions" is pure political blather. Who isn't?
Clinton perhaps who never met a war she didn't want in on - but for most other non-innate regime changers -it's just blather.

    suit yourself. I don't give a fuck.

forget it, you aren't worth engagement.
practice some isolationism and STFU to my posts then.

I suspect that the only thing Rana knows about Trudeau is that he's buff.
