They like to selectively apply the Scriptures, and pretend some don't apply any more when it's convenient, don't they?
You can get it from any Muslim who advocates adherence to strict sharia law. Do you really think they just make this stuff up lol.
There's a controversy amongst Islamic jurists over whether sharia should just be based on the Koran or the Koran plus the Hadith. If you want to say the latter group is 'wrong' that's fine. But that doesn't exempt Islam. Strict sharia is nothing more than a pretext to use such barbaric practices as stoning for adultery or apostasy.
There simply is no parallel in contemporary Christianity. The problem for Christians is they have to be free of sin before they can stone anyone.
Per Jesus.
Coup has started. First of many steps. Impeachment will follow ultimately~WB attorney Mark Zaid, January 2017
Swing and a miss.
Let he who is without sin cast the first stone
This represented a distinct shift in the new testement as well as Jesus accepting punishment for our sins.
This is the crux of the new covenant.
Most non Christians don't get it but you don't have to be one.

Their faith is selective.
Really? Hmm.
I actually know Christians who would differ with that opinion.
Actually, they refer to themselves as having had an Ecclesiastical Bypass, but at one time they took the bible as, "the thing and the whole of the thing."
Because when it comes to Christians, there are all sorts, and they interpret the bible any damned way they want, so long as the interpretation meets whatever agenda they happen to have on a particular day.
By the way, if you want a NT reference for God demanding that those who won't worship and be subjugated to him be killed, you might want to peruse Luke a little. There's one in there.
