Default Republican Requires People to Have Health Care!!! OMG!

Romney signed into law a bill that required everyone in his state of governorship, Mass., to sign up for health insurance. A Republican.

what the hell is he doing?

Republicans should be for removing all regulations, eliminating medicare and medicaid, and replacing them by giving americans access to tax deductable medical savings accounts.

    Yes.

And considering that Romney accused Hillary's plan of being essentially anti-free market, you have to wonder what the man is thinking.

He signed it for the state of Massachusetts over a year ago. He claims it has more free market forces in it. I don't really know. Seems like big freaking government to me. I don't disagree with his assesment of Hillary's being big government.

He is going to pull out the federalism rhetoric. Of course, HE is full of shit. It's kind of like Hillary and others pretending to be against the war.

I'm all for big government when it's run properly.

It's a bit like Bill Mahr says: Republicans say Government doesn't work, so they get elected and prove it.

Government's not the problem, it's the way its run. And there are many very efficient and very successful government programs, despite what String and Texan Ron Paul will tell you. You can't run government effectively if you hate government.

Thats fucked up. Requiring people to have healthcare isn't the place of the government. That's what that snatch Hillary wants to do on a Federal level. Fuck that. You radical leftists cant see a slippery slope when it slaps a wet noodle across your faces.

National healthcare? This isn't anything like it. Its forcing people to buy a certain product from the insurance companies. Its yet another marriage between your beloved, honest, benevolent and pure intentioned government, and the nasty, evil disgusting private sector. I'm surprised you jizz yourself over this.

I'm not a big fan of the idea that people should be forced to buy insurance. If it is to be truly universal, it should be provided by the tax-funded federal government.

However, this is a step in the right direction. If she proposed the same 1300-page proposal she made in 1993-1994, she'd be laughed out of the primary.

But you're willing to hop on that sled, because you believe your government is well intentioned and benevolent. The same government that has gotten us into countless wars, has given no-bid contracts to Haliburton and is subsidiaries, the same government that does all the shit you detest about this country, but put them in charge of healthcare, and they'll do right. You're a more trusting sum bitch than me fool.
