how about that. a country where a private citizen can buy something from another private citizen and the government has no say in it. maybe there is a little freedom left in parts of this country.
A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.

How about a country where an inconvenience isn't considered an infringement?

you'll first need to explain how my right to keep and bear arms infringes on ANYONE elses rights.

It's not....but selling them without a background check does. You even said yourself that the majority if gun owners have a moral compass.....what about the ones that don't? Especially when it's perfectly legal.

simply saying that something violates your rights, does not make it so. I asked you to explain, so how does NOT conducting a background check on someone buying something from me violate your right and what right would it be violating?

Criminals will not abide by background checks, they just steal guns if they need to, or use another weapon, they are CRIMINALS they don't care about laws.

No...they'll just continue buying their guns from the "responsible" gun owners in the back halls of gun shows.

Would you, or Billy, sell a gun to someone at a gun show if he offered you more money?

At some point it would, I am free to swing my arms, until I get to a place where your nose is in range.

and the same would apply to me. i'm free to swing my arm until I reach your nose. so our rights do not outweigh any other.

The gun debate is all about where you draw the line on the right to bear arms. Do you draw the line at assault rifles or Tactical Nuclear Weapons?

Does the benefit of a background check outweigh the benefit or not?
