1. Look at everything they're doing in France with healthcare
2. Copy it and do it here
Much simpler than my immigration position.
"Do not think that I came to bring peace... I did not come to bring peace, but a sword." - Matthew 10:34
I felt embarrassed and humiliated to watch French, British, and Canadian citizens laugh out loud, when they learned that in the United States one has to pay huge premiums and co-pays for surgery, doctor visits, and perscription drugs....if you're even lucky enough to have private insurance, and assuming the for-profit insurance company approves your medical treatment.
Many of them appeared to be astonished that one would have to pay anything out of pocket for healthcare, or that some for-profit entity could deny you medical care.
I laugh at loud whenever I hear about British and Canadian taxes. But the French healthcare system is amazingly efficient.
