Chick-fil-A braces for protests, same-sex ‘kiss-in’

What bothers me about this whole thing is the volume of bullshit about a guy answering a question about what he believes.

CFA treats its employees well. The CEO of that company has always been open about the fact that he runs his privately owned business in a certain way based on his faith. When he was interviewed for an article in a Christian publication, he answered a question about what he believes. He isn't refusing to hire gays or to serve gays. But now people are boycotting his business, not because of his actions, but because of his beliefs? WTF?

And for the other side of the fence, if you didn't support CFA before you read what the CEO said, doing so now simply shows your bigotry. As I said, no one should be persecuted for what they believe. But purposefully choosing a restaurant (and I use that term loosely) based on your own hatred for gays is pitiful.

I have never cared for Chick-Fil-A. But all this hoopla over the answer to a question about his faith is nonsense.

Chick-Fil-A sets their own business plans and policies and now that they've went to great deal to make some of it quite public I've decided not to patronize them again. They are now completely irrelevant to me. There are lots of good chicken restaurants and fast food establishments. I do a lot of shipping and I refuse to use Covenant Truck Lines or even allow one on my lot. For several reasons. My business and my policy but I don't put it on the news or in the paper.

I'm currently dying for a pizza but since my junk food limit is once per week and my wife is probably the only person on the planet who doesn't like pizza I don't get many opportunities to eat it anymore.

i was going to eat at Chick Fil a for the first time in my life today. The line went out the front door, across the length of the front of the building and halfway to the back along the side. And I didnt see anyone kissing.
