New Hong Kong leader takes office amid swirling discontent, unease over China's influence

...Chinese President Hu Jintao was interrupted by a pro-democracy heckler Sunday at the swearing in of Hong Kong's new leader, an incident underscoring rising tensions between Beijing and the semiautonomous territory 15 years after it returned to Chinese rule...

I don't recall ever using the word 'paradise' to describe anywhere. I have said we have more freedoms than the US has. I have said we have a better value health service than the US has. I have said that I rather enjoy living where I live (I have the choice ). I have said that the Chinese management of its economy appears to be working well. But Paradise, dumfy? Nah, never. Much better than Phoenix though.
We have many pro-democracy activists and we have many who choose to kow tow (I know you like that word). We have many rich and we have many poor.
So you may spend your worthless and ignorant life criticising me, HK, China, England or the friggin moon, nothing you do can possibly make a difference to anything.
(pause while dumbo tries to find yet another insult and continues to drool into his baby food.)
Secret: I know someone, not far from Phoenix, who thinks they know you. Just a bit more checking. I wont tell anyone though... unless it is really good!
Anyway there we are. Sunny day, bottle of Liebfraumilch (cheap), nice light lunch. Happy family. All's good and a tit like you cant change anything.

I've seen Low complain about the state of presidential elections in Hong Kong before. The PRC has largely stuck to their agreement (the sino-british joint declaration) to give Hong Kong near total home rule. The non-democratic features currently present in Hong Kong society are largely a result of a haphazard transition from the non-democratic system that the UK left in place.

I have been roundly criticised for this 'veiled' reference. I accept that criticism BUT I dont like cops in plain clothes. I dont know who this Hammer character is and I am not really interested. If he is a 'moderator' or whatever they are called then he should have the balls to stick to one name.
V childish in my opinion. I have never changed my name, to me it suggests cowardice. But... who am I to complain. It's not as if this was a democracy!

We do not have a president we have a CEO. The first one, Tung Chee Wah, was a tosser, the second Donald Tsang was inneffectual and out new one as of this week, a Mr C.Y Leung has already run foul of the law and shown himself to be an untrustworthy cheat.
Beijing had no choice but to back him after their favorite, a Mr. Henry Tang, was found to have an illegal (no BD permission) swimming pool in his basement that he said he knew nothing about because his wife had had it built. Now there's gallantry he didnt learn from us!

Low, I know you're old, and you're retarded, but if you can connect 2 dots, you can understand one very simple fact:

Names in BRIGHT FUCKING RED are names of mods. There are 4 of us, two of whom frequently change their names. Everyone with more than 3 brain cells knows who we are.

You have published confidential information. I demand an apology...... or the price of a beer.
Everyone knows who you are? People who are interested know who you are. You have mistaken me for one of them.
