while i tend to agree, there is a problem when legal immigrants prosper enough not to have to work in the fields, there will be no one to replace them if there are no illegals

i used to live in a predominately hispanic neighborhood and listened to what they had to say about illegals

Wow, I'm convinced.
not for several decades......
This is where lazy white (and black, green or orange....where I live they're white) people come in. You know, the ones who are too good to take such a job. I would support a government program to take all able bodied people on government assistance to the harvest fields and make them work to receive a check. I know it'll never happen but that's what I think they should do. Government provides the transportation and the crop owners pay them.
