yeah i know. but the fifth season is going to be in two parts. they are going to have the first 8 episodes this summer, and the next 8 july 2013.

I've been considering it. I've been hearing different things from the book fans. All endorse the books as completely awesome, but they also say the show is sticking prettty close to the books overall, accept for a few things here and there. But still, it's seldom that you hear a rousing endorsement from book fans of anything converted to another medium. So some say to read them, others say to enjoy the show, then read them.
The downside to reading the books is I would pretty much be spoiling one of the best shows currently on t.v., which I am not sure I want to do :/
I might just read the books of the seasons I've seen. That could be a good compromise.
