    Default Soldier Stands His Ground

Recently a rash of home break-ins have been occurring in Fayetteville. Friday, June 1, Michael A. Pistner, of Whitechapel Road, in the Rockfish area of Fayetteville had his home broken into around 4:45p.m.

According to Hoke County Sheriff, Hubert Peterkin, the soldier was in his residence when the back door of his house was kicked in. Pistner then fired a handgun at the three intruders, wounding Gregory Paul Lowrie, 21.

Lowrie was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center where he remained in critical condition and has yet to be charged, Peterkin said.

Samuel Arthur Bernard Sweeney, 19, of Cambridge Arms apartments in Fayetteville, is charged with breaking and entering and conspiracy to commit larceny with bail set at $500,000, according Peterkin.

Sweeney was a graduate of Jack Britt High School in Fayetteville.

It is not known if the home had a home security system.

One perp in the hospital, 1 arrested... I would say the home has an adequate home security system.

    He only hit one.
He needs to visit the local gun range and practice a little more.
Other then that, I bet the word gets out and the other hoodie wearing thugs don't try it.

If you ask me, Trump will probably lose Louisiana and Georgia, almost certainly North Carolina, and perhaps Missouri. It would be a cathartic GOP bloodletting of 1964 vintage. Roughly 380 to 160 by my accounting. I'd bet a bit of cash on it.

strange, isn't it? as soon as the first shot was fired, the others scattered like cockroaches when you turn the light on.
Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American... The unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state government, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people. — Tench Coxe, Pennsylvania Gazette, Feb. 20, 1788.
