It's okay. I'm not trying to convince you or anyone else here. I know what the truth is and have for a while now. And what is most important here is that some, unlike you, are not willing to give a pass to the sociopath who thought strapping the crate to the roof of the car was a good idea.

Two of Mitt's sons claim the dog ran away. The damage control on the story has been in hyperdrive since 2008, effectively convincing enough people (like you) that this is a non-story. Just like his bullying in prep school = non-story. The Republicans are desperate and will go to any lengths to win in November, and their 'best candidate' is a disconnected sociopath with no moral compass who agrees with the last person he spoke with. He's the perfect poster child for the party of no conscience. Be proud!

Look. I don't say it was awesome to strap the dog up there, but I don't say it is the worst thing ever done to an animal either.

I would ask how people feel about animals being relegated to baggage on planes, but they'd pretend that it has "no relevance"...

One thing I know. What happened in 1983 has little relevance to the current economic disastrous policy that needs correction. All of this is just an attempt to distract from the reality of the President's actual record. It's fluff. We're worrying about the wind in Oklahoma and blaming it on Texas sucking all while ignoring the Hurricane on the East Coast. We're letting the media focus on the small stuff to the detriment of our nation.

I do agree that its a Rovian attempt to change the subject and I dont like that, personally I belive that President Obama's economic record can stand up to attacks if we can get people to see where we were when he took office. I belive President Obama should embrace his economic record, not run from it!
