    Default Global warming II

I noticed there is another thread about it, but dont have the time to read it. It seems that the Oil companies mis-information campaign still has many fooled. They still think global warming is a haux.lol

Global warming is here and most of the people in the know are acknowledging this. The debate is whether it is a weather cycle the earth is going through, or is it man made or being amplified by man to dangerous levels. The global leaders already see the potential for arctic resources and are vying to mark their territory.

The rich don't care if their pollution is causing natural disasters because they are profiting heavily from it. And they also are not paying for the damage incurred by this upswing of freak weather. The tax payer is. Even if you have insurance? The rich don't want to take money out of their pocket that YOU payed them to insure your house.

Insurance has become one of the biggest scams of the capitalist system.

I would suggest that you should end it all and french kiss the barrel of a revolver; but then Kanadians aren't allowed to own firearms, so maybe you should just dress up as a baby seal and let nature takes it's course.

Why would you stop supporting the gay porn industry, just because I committed suicide?
You really are weird, even for a Kanadian.

Well....Since I am against the promotion of homosexuality in general? That would point to the gay porn industry suffering because of something else(Yes your suicide).lol

The only reason you're against it, is because you hate sharing and your dream is to get fucked to death on broke back mountain.

The problem w/ global warming is that a) there really isn't any way to know or prove that man is contributing, and b) even if man is contributing, there isn't much that can be done about it at this point.

On the latter, even if they could 100% prove that man is the cause, it wouldn't really matter; no mere 10% reduction in emissions would change anything. There would need to be a wholescale, immediate revolution, worldwide, in energy use - and that just isn't realistic.

What IS realistic is getting people to start grasping the idea that the way we handle energy use right now is unsustainable, and generally not healthy for our environment. Beyond even carbon, there are pollutants which are damaging to all kinds of ecosystems, and they're finite resources anyway. There is no foresight in the current policy or the way we consume energy.

It's a no brainer. Pollutants absorb more heat then oxygen. And do much more damage then warm the globe. It poisons our water we drink, the soil we grow stuff in and eat, the air we breathe, ect.....

There are so many sicknesses popping up and asthma cases are on the rise.

Nothing that can be done? How about turning away from fossil fuels and investing in alternative energy? Oh I forgot, the oil investors living off our backs will loose their gravy train! The republican followers that do not have an interest in big money have to be some of the most dumbest people alive to support the republican party.

Why isn't an energy revolution realistic? Oh I forgot. We owe money to our slave lords the global creditors and one of the biggest incomes the Gov brings in is gas taxes! If they were to switch to cheaper alternatives they wouldn't be able to afford to pay the slave masters and their emperor with no clothes economy would collapse.

I agree with what you said in your last statement. Though you are mistaken. They have the foresight. They knew as demand increased in China that demand would increase for oil, but they figure instead of building more refining capability? Lets keep jacking the prices up. Sell to the highest bidder! And make a killing. It is all by design.

Go ask GWB the oil pig. Since he came to office gasoline prices have more then doubled. Even though Canada's currency has also almost doubled in value. Makes you go HMMMMMMM doesn't it.
