Isaiah 6:5
“Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.”
They did not insist there was NOTHING in the picture. If you recall, he mentioned the pond, some trees and sky and ultimately Winnie and Tigger. It was the other, the "theist" if you will who even though the puzzle was missing only one piece, and the Duck on the box obviously was bigger than one piece, still insisted that there was going to be a duck in the picture. But of course, you get this and yet revel in pretending to be obtuse.

Now, my problem with the analogy is that atheists cannot insist that we now know so much about the universe that there is really only one piece missing in our puzzle of existence and therefore questions about the existence or non-existence of god are unnecessary. There are billions of pieces of our puzzle missing. We don't even know what the picture on the puzzle is supposed to be, and we have no box to give us an idea.

I'm going to laugh at all the Atheists when the Elder Gods drive you to madness. Of course, as a loyal follower, I'll be far too mad to understand it, so in advance...

"I have never made but one prayer to God, a very short one: 'O Lord make my enemies ridiculous.' And God granted it." Voltaire
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Believe nothing on the faith of traditions, even though they have been held in honor for many generations and in diverse places. Do not believe a thing because many people speak of it. Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests. After examination, believe what you yourself have tested and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.

It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.
