Well done. I was going to see how long I could troll you for...

common sense. before these regs people made holes in the sand. fact is, regs are not going to stop some idiot from making a huge hole. we don't need the government to tell us what to do 24/7. the examples you posted are EXTREME examples. and in light of all the beaches in the world, your examples are VERY VERY rare.

I wouldn't call 31 fatalities and 21 non fatal cases in a decade rare, would you?
http://www.webmd.com/news/20070620/d...n-be-dangerousDigging sand holes may sound like innocent fun at the beach, but it can be risky and even deadly, according to a new report. In the past decade, there have been reports of 31 fatalities and 21 nonfatal cases of people submerged in sand when the sand holes they were digging for fun collapsed in on them.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're going, and hook up with them later.
I wonder how people, especially children have sustained serious injuries from falling down into those holes? Oh by the way, those collapses tend to happen where the sand is dry, so your theory about the sea just covering it all up is patently not true.
I am not sure where you are getting your population figures from but last time I checked the Earth's population was 7 billion instead of 4 billion as you stated.

I had not looked at actual populations Tom. The last I had heard a number for global population it was 4 billion. I see the new number was publicized in October. I guess this makes your chicken little stats even less significant?
• Coastal states receive about 85% of the tourist-related revenues in the U.S. It's estimated that
some 180 million Americans annually make 2 billion visits to ocean, gulf and inland beaches --
more than twice as many visitors that go to all the National Park Service properties during the
same period.

I'm always stuck on the 6.2 Billion number from 1999 (which I believe they used in Armageddon).
