Are you honestly comparing yourself to a 27-year-old? No, I don't own a house; I could buy one, but I'd be a fool to do so. And no, I don't have a million dollars. I have 10k in savings and approximately 15k in various investments. However, I don't think I'm doing too shabby for a 27-year-old. I'm starting a $68k/yr job in a few weeks, and I have a solid plan for a side business that has a good shot at filling a market niche and generating a lot of money.
But sure, go right ahead and compare yourself to a guy half your age, if it makes you feel better about yourself.
