    True. The comments out of N. Korea lead me to believe that China is trying to provoke the North into doing something stupid so that it will divert our attention from their situation with Vietnam.

    Well we keep a carrier battle group around at all times in case China tries to enforce it's claim, so yes.

    I just can't help thinking that this scenario is very reminiscent of Japan in the '30s.
