    Default Government regulation

OK people. Lets discuss government regulation. The republicans are against it, though the very foundation of Capitalism is for the government to keep greed in check. Government regulation.

How does it do that? It collects taxes from the wealthy, so a significant portion of the income goes to the Gov to be used for the benefit of the public(and those that are left out of the capitalist loop).

Just so you know? It is impossible to employ everybody in capitalism, mostly due to technology replacing human labor.

Anyways, when companies are exempted from paying their taxes? The government coffers are heavily reduced and so are social programs.......

The argument of the capitalist Corps is that the money will be used to expand and create more jobs, though why not give another a chance at the American dream? To open up competition? Why put all your eggs in one basket?

We have seen the result. When these large companies get so big and outgrow demand? They have to either layoff thousands of employees or shut down. The govs response? Bail them out. Is that capitalism? This is after all the corporate welfare they have been receiving(tax payers money).

The larger corporations have a much bigger advantage to smaller companies because they have larger expenses and thus larger write offs. The small businessman cannot compete, stifling competition.

And the fact that these big corps weasel their way out of paying their share of the debt and social programs? The small businessmen and the middle class are left with the bulk of the burden.

That is why so many small businessmen are burdened with high taxes. That's not capitalism.

What is happening now is the Corps have reached the boundries of their expantion. There is no where left to expand to in America, there is no more room for growth. Yet they still receive these tax breaks, excemptions, ect.... And what are they doing with those tax exemptions now, they are using the money(American tax payers dollars) to expand to other countries. Basically exporting America's wealth. See how capitalism and greed go hand in hand? They are abandoning America for greener pastures(cheaper labour and higher profit margins). At the expense of American jobs. And using Americans own money to do so. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot!

Republicans should move to Somalia, where there is no government regulation.

Basically if the gov doesn't tax corps adequately, it risks the Corps becoming more wealthier then them, and when that happens, they can start influencing government more(Lobbying). And thus corruption. Look at the level of corporate corruption in the last few decades.

Sure capitalists will always bribe politicians, though this allows corps to have even more money to bribe politicians.

They shouldn't worry about creating jobs. If the demand is there, give someone else a chance of the American dream to fulfill the demand.

If the GOP keeps cutting taxes for the wealthy and big business, that day won't be far away.

None of 'em take you seriously enough to bother responding.
Maybe if you were a little more open-minded it would be different.

if he had any more empty space and hot air in his 'open mind', he'd already be in the asylum.
A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.

Agreed, but at least when someone points out a fact he is incorrect about, if he researched it instead of denying it and typing HAHAHAHAHA or LOL,
some people might still be willing to play.

I at least attempted to have a debate, You idiots are just limited to criticism without and real substance. Maybe you can start with what you don't agree with my OP and why. Or will that be too much strain on your two brain cells?

When the facts that are mentioned cannot be supported, that is when I have a good laugh! Facts are facts when you can prove it. I can say the moon is made out of cheese. That's a fact, when in reality, it is not.

it's not possible to agree or disagree when your entire post is just wrong.

Yet you, who demands proof in capital letters, NEVER offer any proof.
Those few of us who have bothered to debate you have provided abundances of proof,
via links, films, etc., only to have you glibly dismiss them, then adding insult to injury,
throw in a bunch of LOLs and HAHAHAs.
Even if you were correct in your assumptions, which you generaly are not, such behavior
would not engender participation by others in your "debates".

Seriously, look at what is going on. You get no support from anyone, liberal, progessive, libertarian or conservative.
In your view, backed by your assertions, you are the only correct one and all the rest of us are wrong.

Do you really think a board such as this, composed primarily of intellectual heavyweights, is entirely incorrect about everything?

Your arrogance is unbounded, offensive and undeserved.
Until you achieve the slightest semblence of humility, you will likely be ignored here.

Clearly you do think, a lot, but thoughts based on incorrect facts lead only to erroneous conclusions.
Then you stand on your erroneous conclusions and MOCK the rest of us.

That the rich have not been paying their fair share? millionaires and billionaires have publicly said they agree!

What do you want me to prove?

I've cut the mis-information you call proof to pieces. It doesn't hold water therefore cannot be considered proof nor facts. It is only spin to fool the naive like you!

What proof do you want? That the government gives corporate welfare to corps? Everyone knows this!

I didn't start with the name calling. You idiots did. What? You don't like a taste of your own medicine? More of that bullshit American double standard?

Most of these people have been indoctrinated with so much spin they wouldn't know the truth if it hit them in the face.

I believe Winston Churchill said it best.

Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing ever happened.
    Sir Winston Churchill
    British politician (1874 - 1965)

Plus. Most of the people on here are pro-capitalist so obviously they are against what I propose.
