    how funny how you rant about pubs being obstructionist, but now, bend over backwards to defend the dems BLOCKING or delaying the jobs bill that is supposedly a near national emergency. you didn't answer the question, you gave a bland generic statement as to what usually happens with bills, obama said this bill must be passed now and the dems are holding it up.

    why? if jobs are so important, why are the dems holding up jobs?

    NOTE: assuming for argument sake this bill will actually work
    I don't generally rant about the repubs being obstructionist. Both parties can be obstructionist, but this is not a case of obstructionism. You must have just learned the term if you think that it is. This is a typical case of legislation being haggled over until enough people have what they want.

    Obstructionism is seeking to defeat legislation for a larger agenda or political objective.

    You're so naive when it comes to politics sometimes. The most basic things have to be explained to you.

    but this is not a case of obstructionism ??? really....

    According to your party / the Presidents Party, Democrats don’t currently have the votes for Obama jobs bill.....and they have the majority vote in the Senate....WTF don't you understand here....?
    Maybe this is a case where even the Presidents's party sees his idea is stupid and that won't help the nation

    Do you you blabber, bluster, and blow smoke ?...then you're likely a Democrat

    Just curious for an answer from you scholars - do you think that every time a piece of legislation can't muster enough votes for passage, it's an example of "obstructionism"?

    I don't , but it seems YOU DO....

    Are these Democrats being obstructionists ?

    ================================================== =====
    "Obstructionism is seeking to defeat legislation for a larger agenda or political objective".?....I think not....

    I'll go with the accepted definition.....

    It is the deliberate interference with the progress of a legislation by various means such as filibustering or slow walking which may depend on the respective parliamentary procedures.
    it is seeking to defeat (or not support) legislation because you most likely think its bad legislation

    Do you you blabber, bluster, and blow smoke ?...then you're likely a Democrat
